NGS library prep is labor intensive and tedious, on the other hand usually various library prep kits need to be processed in one lab. The hands on time will be reduced by using walk away automation. Usually a NGS library prep takes 2 to 3 days. With automated Liquid Handling the hands on time is between 1 and 2 hours.
